Q: I only have 1-2 symptoms to discuss, do I still need to start with a 75 min consultation?
A: Yes, for a few reasons. The reason this consultation is so long is we go over your full health history and current health concerns in depth. This allows me to establish a root cause for your symptoms and provide recommendations accordingly. It also ensures that should you seek advice again in the future, I have your full case to refer to instead of trying to provide advice off limited information each time.
Q: I'm a return patient with blood test results. Can I email them to you to have a look over?
A: You can, however if you'd like me to interpret and debrief these with you, you will need to book a consultation. This is to adhere to professional and association standards, as well as valuing the time it takes to functionally review blood tests and provide recommendations.
Q: Do you do acute consultations?
A: Only for clients who have already done an initial consultation. While it might seem like you need advice for a small or minor concern, sometimes there are bigger things at play in the background and addressing symptoms properly often cannot be done in 15-20 minutes. Remember, the idea isn't to be on supplements forever so finding out WHY the symptom exists is just as (if not more) important than the symptom itself.
Q: How many appointments will I need?
A: This is really dependant on each individual.
I always recommend a follow up within two weeks of your initial consultation to discuss dietary changes and how any supplements are going. You can expect more frequent appointments in the initial phase of your treatment as this is a time when you are forming new habits and often when people benefit most from the more regular appointments for accountability and support.
Q: If my appointment is online, how do I get my supplements?
A: All supplements are prescribed via an online platform where you can go on and place your order. Express shipping generally will have your supplements to you within 1-2 business days.
